On Monday 14 March 2022, 13h-14h CET, we will organize our next burden-eu webinar, focussing on the WHO/ILO Joint Estimates.
In the spirit of the Sustainable Development Goals, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) produce the WHO/ILO Joint Estimates of the Work-related Burden of Disease and Injury. The WHO/ILO Joint Estimates quantify the population exposed to occupational risk factors and amount health loss caused by these exposures. Global, regional and national estimates are produced of the numbers of deaths and disability-adjusted life years that can be attributed to exposure to selected occupational risk factors.
In this webinar, the WHO/ILO Joint Estimates team will provide an overview of the programme of work, outlining the methods, the first set of estimates, and the conclusions drawn. More information about the webinar is available via www.burden-eu.net/webinar.
