Management Committee meeting (7/12, 10-12h CET)
During the Management Committee (MC) meeting, a general update of the progress of the COST Action will be presented, including an update of the budgetary status. The MC meeting is restricted to invited MC members/substitutes/observers.
Working Group meeting, session 1 — COVID-19 disease burden (8/12, 13-16h CET)
Some way or another, COVID-19 has played an important role in our lives the past few months. Several countries are planning to calculate COVID-19 disease burden, calling for a harmonized approach. Furthermore, COVID-19 provides a nice case study to demonstrate and discuss burden of disease methods and knowledge translation.
This WG session will be dedicated to the COVID-19 disease burden, and will address your questions and needs regarding burden of disease methods and knowledge translation. This WG session will be open to all members of the network.

Working Group meeting, session 2 — GBD 2019 results (9/12, 13-16h CET)
On 17 October 2020, the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation launched the latest iteration of the Global Burden of Disease study. The GBD 2019 study provides estimates for 369 disease and injuries and 87 risk factors in 204 countries and territories, for the period 1990-2019. It therefore offers a powerful resource to understand the changing health challenges facing people in Europe and across the world.
This WG session will be dedicated to the new GBD 2019 results, and will address your questions and needs regarding the interpretation and use of the new GBD results. This WG session will be open to all members of the network.
